Challenger International, Inc.         

 A Texas Corporation formed in 1992 by George Dawley and Lawrence Woods. The company has been in the same location since conception. The facility includes a pipe yard, warehouse and corporate offices.

Our  primary business is the sale of new and used drill pipe and related down hole tubulars and accessories. We carry tubular inventories in Houston, Texas and Lafayette, Louisiana a large percentage of the sales are made to overseas accounts. The terms of sale are cash except when a client posts a letter of credit for a longer delivery item.

George W. Dawley is President and CEO. He brings 36 years experience and knowledge of the oil field business to the company. His expertise is "new" drill pipe and drilling equipment, the manufacturing of all phases of drill pipe, drill collars, heavy weight drill pipe and international sales.   George is a member of Peace Community Church in Houston where he is an Ordained Deacon and Assistant Treasurer.

Lawrence "Red" Woods, Sr. is Senior Vice President and Secretary. He has 44 years experience with oil field tubulars, having worked for two major inspection companies and having formed his own inspection and service company in 1978. His expertise is in new and used tubulars, primarily in the inspection and related services divisions of the company.

Clifton "Clif" Cook joined the company in 1997 as Vice President of International Sales. He brought with him 28 years experience in oil field equipment such as manufacturing of fishing tools and related equipment. He has traveled the world over in sales for a major fishing tool manufacturer and is a major factor in our international's foreign marketing and sales.
