Rubber Sleeve Stabilizers
Are designed to perform better in hard and abrasive formations, and cost less then
conventional hard-faced rotating stabilizers.
The fully rubber sleeve design provides excellent wall contact and offers better mud circulation and freedom from balling. Other feature include improved mud flow over the bearing surfaces for longer, more trouble-free life.
The fully assembled stabilizer has only four parts: main body, top sub, replacement wear ring and the sleeve. Simply break out the top sub from the lower body to replace the sleeve and wear ring. Both the main body and the top sub are machined from AISI 4145 H modified steel. The standard rubber sleeve is made of high-grade, oil-resistant nitrite compound witha temperature rating of 200° F. |
Four-Rib and Six-Rib Sleeve
Two different styles of rib design enable you to select the right type of sleeve for the job. The four-rib design has ample room for circulation and is ideally suited for big hole drilling. The six-rib design provides more wall contact, longer life and reater circulation room than any other six-rib design.
